2006 AVP Las Vegas Gods and Goddesses of the Beach September 7, 2006

WHAT:
The 2006 AVP Gods and Goddesses of the Beach takes place at Caesars Palace September 7th – 9th. Fans will have the opportunity to experience world-class beach volleyball in a beach-party atmosphere. Every tournament represents a fiercely pitched competitive battle amongst some of the fittest athletes in a lifestyle-charged environment.

WHO:
The top 12 men and women players on the 2006 AVP Crocs Tour will compete in this post season invitational event. Headlining the event are 2004 Olympic gold medalists Misty May and Kerri Walsh, 2004 Olympic bronze medal winners Holly McPeak and Elaine Youngs, and 2005 AVP Best Defensive Player Rachel Wacholder. The men’s side is highlighted by 2004 AVP MVP Mike Lambert, Olympian Stein Metzger, 2005 AVP MVP Jake Gibb, 2005 Best Offensive Player Phil Dalhausser and 2005 Best Defensive Player Todd Rogers.
