Take an unforgettable journey around the world as you experience the breathtaking beauty and explosive energy of the 29th Annual San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival. Twenty nine companies representing dance traditions from 20 cultures and featuring more than three hundred of Northern California’s most acclaimed dancers and musicians will take to the stage over three weekends in June. The Festival is the largest and most prestigious gathering of its kind in the country. This year’s theme is Evocations with a different line up of performers each weekend. In addition, specially commissioned works will be presented by Lily Cai Chinese Dance Company, Diamano Coura West African Dance Company, Charya Burt Cambodian Dance and Jyoti Kala Mandir College of Indian Classical Arts.
