Lights, Camera, Action!

Breathe California Golden Gate Health Partnership is excited to announce its second annual Clear the Air Film Festival! Featured are short videos created by Bay Area participants that relate to lung health and air quality. The screening and awards presentation will be open to the public and held this year at the Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco, from 7-10pm. Be sure to check out www.ClearTheAirFilmFest.org and join our Facebook Event listing for all the details and the information on the Prizes and Awards offered.

Submissions are currently being accepted until the February 28 deadline.

Invited to participate in the 3 categories are

• High School Students
-“What can my generation do to protect lung health?”

• College Students
- “What can college students do to address lung health issues in the community?”

• General Public
-“The air we breathe: Problems/Solutions."

Youth involvement in the community has great significance to the future of clean and healthy lungs in the Bay Area. By inviting Bay Area youth to create and compete in the Clear the Air Film Festival, not only will they learn about lung health and clean air but they will actively spread awareness to the broader community. In return, we reward the winning groups for their participation with a cash award that can benefit their student organizations for educational trips, music, sports, and other meaningful activities.
