A CLOSER LOOK AT HOW COMMUNITIES ARE IMPACTED BY INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITIES

When we think of pollutants, we tend to picture cars and other major offenders. But pollution can impact communities on a much smaller scale. Often, these communities are among the most under-served and least able to fight for themselves. They may be faced with pollution from power plants, diesel trucks or oil refineries. On the other side, many industry leaders say the work their companies do is necessary, and contend they go to great lengths to protect nearby communities. Join us for an in-depth discussion about what can be done when communities and industries collide.
