Cinderford Arts and Crafts Festival September 12, 2010

The Cinderford arts and Crafts Festival, offers a great day out for all the family with Art on the Railings, face painting, children’s arts and crafts corner and much more. All the family can have a go at ‘Street Chalk’ a competition with a cash prize for the winner, dependant on the number of entries. The Festival will be held in the Triangle area and Market Street which will be closed to traffic to accommodate the stalls and Street Chalk.
The Gallery.Cinderford at 14 Market Street have organised a full programme of event’s including singers and dancers from local schools and a drama performances from local actors. Inside The Gallery there is an excellent Art Exhibit and some of the artist’s will be giving demonstrations and small workshops.
There will be many stalls, with arts and crafts vender’s and charitable organisations selling their wares and local café’s and restaurants opening with specials just for the Festival.
The festival is a fund raising event on behalf of a Gloucestershire charity Hop Skip and Jump, a play centre for children with special needs and life threatening illnesses. All proceeds from stalls, the competition and Art on the Railings will be donated to this very deserving charity.
