Cutting the Light an exhibition of wood engravings, watercolours and coloured woodcuts by Peter Reddick.

The upstairs team are pleased to present an exhibition of wood engravings, watercolours and coloured woodcuts by renowned wood engraver, Peter Reddick. Peter has worked for many decades as a book illustrator and printmaker, producing originals for writers and publishers, including the Folio Society, the Limited Editions Club, New York, Gregynog Press, The Readers Digest and the Old Stile Press in Llandogo. Based in Bristol, Peter continues to work with the open access printmaking facility, Spike Print Studio, which he co-founded in 1976.
Now 86, Peter Reddick RWA is probably best known for his illustrations of the works of Thomas Hardy.
