The book contains more than 200 fully tested recipes, ranging from the simple to the sublime. Also included: step-by-step instructions for making ice cream, sherbet, sorbet, frozen yogurt, and gelato, as well as frozen and ice-cream based drinks.

Dick Warren is the owner of Four Seas Ice Cream, Inc., located on Cape Cod, MA. His ice cream was named by Gourmet Magazine as the "best ice cream in the northeast," and selected by USA Today as one of the top ten in the country.
