Diwali Mela 2012 - Festival of Lights October 28, 2012

We are happy to announce that our 8th annual Diwali Mela will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 10:00 AM to sunset across the street from Asamai Hindu Temple & Community Center, 80 Barclay Street, Hicksville, NY 11801.

Our program includes raffles, prizes, children’s rides, cultural programs, bollywood singers, international food stalls and over fifty diverse business vendors, such as banks, mortgage companies, travel agents, insurance companies, wireless, cables, clothing and jewelries and many mo
re.
This year our Mela will be bigger and better than ever. We are doing the mela in the bigger parking lot and we will close Barclay Street as well.

The following are the high light of this year’s Diwali Mela.
• Raffle drawing: prized include Chevy Car, Trip to India for 2, iPod, and others.
• Up to 10 children’s rides
• International food vendors and other reputable business vendors.
