Fences is Seattle songwriter Christopher Mansfield. Mansfield jokes that he traffics in "wussy pop music," and his full-band live performances are more upbeat than novices might anticipate, but as Fences attests, beneath his sing-along hooks and charismatic performances are songs with a steel core.

This will be Rin Tin Tiger's debut at SF's awesome venue Rickshaw Stop! We play second at 9:45 but you do NOT want to miss Passenger & Pilot open the show. This is an amazingly solid bill. We will be playing a full drum rockin 45 minute set and (hopefully) performing a brand new song as well!
Fences just wrapped up multiple showcases at SXSW, including the Internet Explorer launch party with Yeasayer! They were chosen as one ...of 35 'Must Hear Acts' at SXSW by Spin Magazine, fresh off a tour opening for Against Me! and have a full length produced by Sara Quin of Tegan and Sara - Fences will definitely be playing a bigger venue the next time they come around!
$10 ALL AGES Doors at 8, music at 9. There is a full bar, great sound system and room for 350 people so bring your friends!! :)
