Forest Of Dean Diamond Jubilee Celebration June 2, 2012

An entertainment extravaganza at Speech House Hotel to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

The day will take the form of a "Proms in the Park", starting at 1400 hrs, featuring the Lydbrook Championship and Training Bands, a range of artists including the local “Boogie Nights” youth dance group, Brett Baker, principal trombone player of Black Dyke Band, arguably the world's most famous brass band, and the internationally renowned Great Western Chorus.

As well as a day full of superb entertainment, there will be a range of other attractions including historic vehicles, and children’s entertainment.

The evening will culminate in a "Last Night of the Proms" performance by Lydbrook Band with a spectacular firework finale.
