Forum Nokia's approach towards mobile web developer is to encourage growing of open ecosystem where web services, mobile developers and finally handset owners, as well as other stakeholders such as content owners and advertisers, will each benefit and result as a scalable model ending up with creation of easier mobile web experience for end users.

The workshop discusses the model from different perspectives and introduces a new kind of opportunity for mobile web developers and companies.

Widgets are the current big thing out there. They are small application created to save your time, keep you up-to-date or just to tease your brain. This 3-hour code camp is a practical walk-through of developing Web Runtime widgets for S60 Platform, building blocks, roadmap and development possibilities. This session will also introduce the usage of S60 Platform Services from JavaScript code and also highlight various other methods of interacting with an S60 device from Web Runtime.
