We eat food every day and it can be a meaningful act. However in our daily urban grind, trying to meet the responsibilities and demands of our economy, this most necessary and frequent act has become habituated, it has lost meaning. We eat without thinking, in the car, on the way to work, rushing to the next meeting. What we put in our mouth, how it got there, who produced it, with what methods, and at which costs, are easy questions to forgo. We are progressive, intelligent professionals who make informed choices in our jobs everyday. And if we had the knowledge regarding accessible ways to plug in to practical solutions, we would not allow these questions to go unanswered.

The act of eating provides us an opportunity to affect the economy, the environment, our culture, our health. On a daily basis you can redefine how you eat by choosing from whom you purchase, what your purchase supports, and, therefore, how you are involved in the production of your food. Let's talk about how you can make more informed and meaningful choices about food and how this can redefine eating in 1, 3 or 8 hours per week.
