Improv Classes-Now Enrolling new sessions! The Brody Theater offers a full course of study in improvised acting including public performance opportunities for dedicated students at the advanced levels. We've been offering quality improv classes in Portland for over thirteen years, and we practice what we preach in every Brody show. Whether your goal is to perform on the improvised stage, improve spontaneity in your scripted acting, or simply find a new creative outlet--or inlet--these fun, challenging and rewarding classes are for you. Qualified, experienced instruction, supportive atmosphere, and discounted or free admission to Brody shows for all students. multi-week classes: Fundamentals of Improvisation: No experience required--beginners welcome. Meets Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00 PM. New session every eight weeks. $165. $150 early enrollment discount often available online. Classes meet in downtown Portland. If you can't be at the first session, or are seeing this notice after we have started the class, we do accept new students as late as week 2 if there is room. But our last three sessions have filled completely so we strongly recommend early enrollment. Intermediate and advanced classes: For students who have taken our intro course or the equivalent elsewhere, with permission. Call or email for permission to join.
