ABOUT SOUTH TOWARD HOME:
By using volunteer and paid labor, as well as donated and purchased materials, South Toward Home (“STH”) is making it possible for people to return to their homes through its Project Renewal Program.

Now that the larger relief organizations have affected their roles, STH looks to fill the gaps, as there is still much that is left undone.

To help a community recover, we must care for the individuals. As we all know, Katrina did not discriminate, and has left victims of every description in its wake. Together, with Project Manager Amy Hardee, STH has repaired over 50 homes in the coastal town of Pass Christian, Mississippi.

STH’s involvement in the recovery process will include many phases, based on the immediate needs of individuals, and the community as a whole. STH will partner with different programs and organizations in the future to accomplish these goals. Visit www.southtowardhome.com for more information on this important organization.
