The 7th Annual SF Sketchfest Presents

KASPER HAUSER

and

OH, YOU AND YOUR BONE SPURS

Cost: $20

This San Francisco-based comedy group Kasper Hauser is the four-man comedy group from San Francisco that pioneered the use of using language on stage as a comical use. They have performed extensively throughout the U.S. and completed a run at the Edinburgh Fringe, where they won the Herald Angel (?). The group’s members wrote and starred in the indie film Fishing with Gandhi and have appeared on Comedy Central's Crossballs.
Kasper Hauser's catalog parody, SkyMaul: Happy Crap You Can Buy from a Plane, was published by St. Martin's Press in Autumn, 2006, and sold many copies. They hold the distinction of being the only group to appear in all seven SF Sketchfests thus far.

Oh, You and Your Bone Spurs first appeared at the Fake Gallery's fabled Friday night sketch shows. During the show's run at the Fake, the Los Angeles Times gave the show a Comedy Pick of the Week. (And Los Angeles is huge.) They've done Comedy Central's eponymous stage in Hollywood, the L.A. Fest of Sketch and the SF Sketchfest, where, if you'll forgive the immodesty, they DESTROYED. Seriously, they should have a street named after them in North Beach. The cast features: Anna Becker, who co-stars in the forthcoming film Wannabe and does Comedy Central Stage's Sit 'N Spin show. Stephen T. Brophy, who wrote a comedy pilot for TVLand, produced by Paul Reiser and hosted by Harry Shearer, and is a member of White Noise Radio Theater. Ebbie Parker, who is a comedian who's done a lot of tours and HBO and MTV and Comedy Central. Jim Woster, who has no interesting credits other than the Bone Spurs show, which he wrote
