Kolaynu's Kol Nidre / Erev Yom Kippur Service October 8, 2008

Kolaynu invites you to Kol Nidre: Erev Yom Kippur Services, celebrating the Jewish High Holidays in Santa-Cruz-Style -- participatory, egalitarian, progressive, creative, and peace-oriented -- with cantorial soloists Liberty Rose Elgart-Fail, Sephy Elizai and Lori Rivera. Children, flowers, and decorations for the mishkan/altar welcome! We welcome individuals and families of every configuration and orientation - interfaith, questioning, and friends of Jews. Come as you are -- no need to dress-up (please refrain from wearing fragrances in consideration of those who may be sensitive). Contributions in units of "chai" (18) for "life" are in keeping with the tradition of the holiday and donations of any amount are gratefully accepted. No one turned away for lack of funds.
