Medieval Weekend July 30, 2010

We are pleased to host the second annual Medieval Weekend at the Farm Park. Dick Whittington lived in medieval England between 1350 and 1423. To get an insight into this period of history, do visit us on Saturday, 31st July and Sunday, 1st August.

Highlights of the weekend will include:

Medieval Village Encampment
10.45 a.m. – Dressing the Knight
11.30 a.m. – Archery
12.15 p.m. – Squire Training
12.30 p.m. – Living History Lunchtime
2.00 p.m. – Crime and Punishment with Trial of Felon
2.30 p.m. – Mini Knights Tourney
3.15 p.m. – Medieval Doctor’s Surgery
4.00 p.m. – Squire Training

The Living History Camp will be open to all public all day and the ‘Have a Go’ Archery will be manned all day with all performers willing and happy to talk to anyone about anything medieval. You could even try some medieval cuisine from the camp fire pot!
