The Miss Redwood City, Miss San Mateo County Scholarship Organization, is the local preliminary to Miss California-Miss American will be holding its local competition on Saturday February 28th at Canada College in Redwood City. Scholarships in the amount of $1000.00 will be awarded to the winners of the “Miss” competition and an opportunity to participate in the Miss California competition in Fresno in June.
Competition areas include Miss Redwood City, Miss San Mateo County, ages 18 -24. Miss Outstanding Teen for both Redwood City and San Mateo County, ages 13-17 and The Princess Program for Girls ages 5-12. The Princess Program is not a competition, but an opportunity for girls to participate on a younger level in the program and event performance.
