From his first recording work in 1956 with Al Cohn to collaborations with the likes of Stan Getz and Gerry Mulligan, Mose Allison has crafted a unique brand of jazz that incorporates elements of swing, bop, blues and classical music. Legendary guitarist Larry Coryell was one of the pioneers of jazz-rock in the 1960s, bringing a hard edge to jazz guitar. Coryell has recorded with such artists as Kenny Baron and Charles Mingus.
