THE PLAY: Author Peter Knight is writing what he hopes will be his next big hit ? a 1920s murder mystery with a modern twist. But when lightning strikes the Victorian mansion he has rented to work in he gets more of a twist than he expected. All of the stock characters of a whodunit that he has used for his story come to life, with agendas of their own. Now Peter is stuck with them until whoever dunit does it, and is, inevitably, unmasked.
