Enjoy wine, dance and dialogue with ODC/Dance "unplugged!"
ODC/Dance "unplugged" offers an intimate, behind the scenes look at the latest, original dance work by ODC Co-Artistic Director, KT Nelson, and a commissioned score by acclaimed Brazilian composer and pianist, Marcelo Zarvos, that will be performed live. Her refreshing, exuberant new work, a product of the close collaboration with Zarvos, dares to explore the lighter side of life.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to engage with the work in an "unplugged" environment, share your thoughts and feedback and connect personally with ODC's three world-renowned choreographers. The wildly popular series exemplifies ODC's spirit of innovation and exploration.
This extra special "unplugged" features live music by five world-class musicians including composer Marcelo Zarvos on piano, Music Director Rene Mandel (violin), Gianna Abondolo (cello), Franklyn D'Antonio (violin), and Carla-Maria Rodrigues (viola).
A post-show discussion with the artists will follow the performance. A pre-show reception, including complimentary wine, will be at 6 pm.
"As the evening progresses you come to know and admire each performer."
