Join Literary Arts’ annual celebration of the state’s most accomplished published writers in the genres of poetry, fiction, literary nonfiction and young readers literature.

Poet Naomi Shihab Nye will host the ceremony. She is the author of numerous collections, including You and Yours (2005) and 19 Varieties of Gazelle: Poems of the Middle East (2002). William Stafford once said, “Reading her work enhances life.” Winner of four Pushcart Prizes, Nye has been a Lannan and a Guggenheim fellow. In 1988, she received The Academy of American Poets’ Lavan Award, selected by W.S. Merwin.

A reception and book-signing will follow the ceremony.
