Lynnell Major Edwards is the author of two full-length collections of poetry, The Farmer’s Daughter (2003) and The Highwayman’s Wife (2007), both from Red Hen Press. Her work has appeared on Verse Daily and in numerous literary journals, including Poems & Plays, Southern Poetry Review, Smartish Pace, The Los Angeles Review, Poetry East, and Dos Passos Review.

Kim (Freilich) Dower grew up in New York on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and received her BFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College in Boston. Upon graduating, Kim stayed at Emerson and taught Introduction to Creative Writing: Poetry for two years before moving to Los Angeles where she pursued other writing projects, and began her own literary publicity company called Kim-from-L.A., the name for which she has become famous in the publishing world. But then, “like major, like a dream,” poetry re-entered her life and she’s been writing three or more poems a week for the last few years.
