(Through the web survey we held a week ago – bit.ly/RefreshDate – most of you mentioned that Refresh should be moved to the 3rd week of the month. So starting from January, we’ll do just that.)

Refresh Portland is a monthly talk (held every 2nd Wednesday) about design, front-end development, usability and web standards.

Our second session will feature Josh Pyles, a talented web designer focusing on design for modern web apps, and also one of the organizers of the Refresh Portland group.

Our topic: “An Intro to Microformats & The Power of Semantic Web Design.” This presentation will give you practical steps on making the contents and informations that you’ve worked so hard on readable by computers and web applications.

We’re considering different venue options for post-event drinks and dinner. Have an idea? Leave a comment or email [email protected]

Refresh Portland is part of the Refreshing Cities Movement.

I planned to go to this event but a work obligation came up for that evening, so I'll plan to attend next month's event. Sorry to miss it!

No worries dan!

We'll have the slides up afterwards, and the stream/recording will also be available.
