The exhibit features award winning photographs from the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) 2007 World Refugee Day Photo Contest. The photographs were taken by sixteen refugee youth from Africa and Central Asia who were recently resettled here in Oakland by the International Rescue Committee. A reception will be held on the last day of the exhibition. All proceeds from this event will help fund a new After School Youth Program for refugee youth living in Oakland.
