involved, have an impact and have fun, without the requirements of individual long-term commitments.

About Second Harvest Food Bank - San Jose:
Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo counties is a private nonprofit organization that collects and distributes more than 26 million pounds of food each year to low-income children, adults and seniors. The Food Bank currently serves an average of 167,200 individuals each month; nearly 60% are families with dependent children.


Help the Food Bank sort, inspect and repackage thousands of pounds of food in this fun three-hour shift!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We will be working in a warehouse, so layers are encouraged. For safety reasons, long pants are required. For sanitary reasons, tank tops are not permitted. Comfortable, safe footwear is absolutely necessary. Sneakers, work shoes or boots are required. No heels, open-toed shoes or sandals are permitted in the warehouse. Please leave purses, jewelry and other valuables at home or locked in your car trunk. Necklaces and long earrings pose a safety concern in the warehouse.
