Spookot: A festival of Jewish music, film, oral history and traditions

Did you know that San Francisco's Dolores Park used to be a Jewish cemetery? It`s the perfectly spooky place to have a big community-wide event and celebrate our harvest holiday, welcome some ghostly relations, and have a big shindig. The Mission Minyan co-presents this event (we're building the sukkah and leading lulav waving)

featuring

*Meshuggenismo! A Salsa and Klezmer band
*The Late Shabbat Ensemble
*Jewish mystical stories with Rebbe Lawrence Kushner
*The Israeli movie "Ushpizin"
*A Sukkah and shaking of the Lulav and Etrog

6pm-10pm
Dolores Park, (19 & 20th at Dolores)

For more information, call (415) 751-2541, ext 124
This event is free, but please do a mitzvah by
bringing a can or box of food to the park to donate to the San Francisco Food Bank.
