Spring Festival February 11, 2012

On Sunday 12th February, the Dean Heritage Centre will be celebrating the start of a new season with their annual Spring Festival. Located in the heart of the Forest, the centre offers a great place to start any trip to the area and a diverse range of activities to entertain all the family.
During the festival visitors will be able to take part in insightful guided walks offering a unique perspective on spring in the Forest or try their hand at smallholding for the day, with informative and fun 'chicken keeping' taster sessions.

Hands on activities will be available for the kids including new born chicks to see and handle, fun ferret walking, plus other more educational activities such as our Microscope Discovery Corner and cryptic trails.
