A Free Garden Walk and Plant Sale at Texas Discovery Gardens
Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009

Go native at Texas Discovery Gardens! Join Texas Discovery Gardens on a tour of Texas trees. Learn proper selection, planting and maintenance techniques. We will discuss the advantages of choosing a native tree and characteristics of some popular Texas species. Children age 12 and older are welcome.

Then, stay for our plant sale! If you’re getting your green thumb back as the weather cools down, take advantage of our special one-day-only Fall Plant Sale! Now is the perfect time to update your garden. We have extra perennial butterfly and landscape plants that we need to remove from our greenhouse before winter.

Availability of plant species are not guaranteed, but the selection includes fall aster, salvias, milkweed, grasses, and more.

When: Sat. Nov. 7. Garden Walk starts at 10 a.m. and Plant Sale starts at 11 a.m.

Where: Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park, 3601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Dallas, TX 75210
