Favoring group improvisation over individual solos, The Bad Plus rip into each set with a combination of Swiss-watch precision, and a spectrum of dynamics and reckless abandon. Their trademark of complementing original repertoire with their takes on mainstream pop "standards" includes music from ABBA, Black Sabbath, the Bee Gees, Queen, Blondie, and Neil Young.
