XLR8R & Hacksaw Entertainment Presents: Buraka Som Sistema

Buraka Som Sistema have taken West-African/ Angolan music and fused it with 21st century electronics and in the process created a new sound called progressive Kudro, and a whole lot of buzz to go along with it. They have worked with M.I.A. producing the song The Sound Of Kudro. Their music has been played by DJs worldwide including Simian Mobile Disco, and in 2008, they won an MTV European music award for best Portuguese act.

This performance comes immediately after theirs at Coachella to mark the start of their US tour. Don’t miss out on what will be an EPIC performance that is sure to sell out.

Supporting act DJ Sega (Mad Decent), hailing from Philly will be filling the room with heavy, infectious Baltimore Beats as well.
